For the past three years I have been the volunteer webmaster & tech support guy for the International Mission Board‘s (IMB) West Africa region. This year the IMB held its first Media Conference for all the missionaries in media roles around the world to attend. I was invited to help represent the West Africa region.
The week of sharing stories, showcasing work, collaborating on projects, and planning future media strategies was phenomenal. It was a great time for me as I made a whole bunch of new contacts from every corner of the world. I was able to learn a lot more about how I can help with missions advocacy and I was inspired to keep working hard and focusing on the giant task at hand.
Please pray for all the missionaries as they fly back to their countries this weekend and try to put all the new ideas and technologies they picked up to work.
