Friday, April 25th is World Malaria Day – a day to raise awareness that malaria takes over 1 million lives every year, 90% of which are in Africa. What is most alarming is the fact that malaria is a disease that is both preventable and treatable.
A friend of mine contacted me a couple weeks ago asking me to share a personal story about malaria. She has taken my story and several others and compiled them into a great blog article about malaria and what you can do to help stop it. Please take the time to read it and share it with your friends and family.
