This week we are visiting friends and family in Florida and we took a day trip down to the Everglades to Big Cypress National Preserve. Our hike through the swamps was interrupted by a massive thunderstorm and we got drenched. As a result, the mosquitoes came out in droves and the alligators retreated so I didn’t get as many photos of gators as I’d hoped. However, nature abounds in the preserve so there was still enough fodder for the camera.
