Yesterday, my son Trey and I met up with Jym Davis at Pickett’s Mill Battlefied Historic Site to be extras in a movie. The film is called “Get Low” and stars Robert Duvall, Bill Murray, Sissy Spacek, Lucas Black, and Bill Cobbs. That’s two Oscar winners and a nominee right there! Plus the director Aaron Schneider is an Oscar winner as well and the screenplay was co-written by Chris Provenzano who has written for the TV show Mad Men.
The movie is a dark comedy based on the true story of a man who staged his own funeral so that he could attend it. You can read more about my experiences as an extra on my family blog. Below are some of my favorite images from the day.

These are great pictures. Have you tried any of them in Black and White or Sepia. Since they look like they are filming in the time frame of the daguerreotype your candid shots would look awesome!
