I spent several hours at Twill Auto in St. Petersburg, Florida today taking photos of Dan Botbyl and his crew at work (at work on my car for a good portion of that time). I’ve taken my car to those guys for over 6 years and I recommend them to everyone in the Tampa Bay area. They are seriously the best & most honest mechanics I’ve ever met.
To prove my point, today I needed a new battery in my car. Instead of installing it themselves and charging me for it, they pointed out that I had a warranty on it and could save money by taking it back to the other shop that originally installed it. I did that and saved about $65 – money that they could have had.
If you live in the Tampa Bay area, I highly recommend to you take your car to Twill Auto. Call them at (727) 393-4957 and tell them William vouched for them. O.k., so small world! Dan was our mechanic in Fl! Yes, he and his crew are awesome! We said when we left Florida to move to Tn that there were a few things we would really miss: the beach, Publix, our church, our pediatrician, and our mechanic-GO TWILL! They are great! : )
