Macon's Cherry Blossom Festival Mascot: The Pink PoodleMacon, Georgia’s biggest annual event is the Cherry Blossom Festival with its main attraction being the Cherry Blossom parade which is held downtown. My family attended the event at the corner of 2nd St. and Cherry St. and I took these photos of the folks that paraded by.

For the photography geeks out there, these were shot with a 50mm f/1.8 lens and post-processed in Adobe Lightroom 2.

  1. Some of the images have a kind of Lucis Art quality to them, but not too much. They aren’t overdone and I like the look. Having seen a million parades, I wish that they all looked like this.

    I live in Texas and was so happy to see a picture of my son.He is in the Air Force in Warner Robins.He is one of the members of the honor guard that was holding the flag.
